2016 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic!

September 18th, 2016

In the Junior Men’s Short Program event, Colton nailed a 3Lz2T with +1 GOEs from multiple judges and delivered a program with great energy! He did have a fall, which set him back placement-wise in a field of men that left minimal room for errors, but overall performed a great program! In the Freeskate event, Colton delivered another engaging performance! He had a few errors, and overall placed fifth.

This was a good competition with many improvements, especially with consistency—as always, we are proud of you, Colton!

September 15th, 2016

Colton Johnson was again selected by USFS to compete in the 2016 US International Classic/Junior Challenge Skate, taking place this week in Salt Lake City, UT!

Colton was the Silver Medalist at the UGL Regional Championships, and alternate to compete at the US National Championships last year. The selection process for the International Classic was quite tight this year and Colton was 1 of 8 skaters selected to compete in the Junior Men’s Event!

Good luck, Colton!
